beejakshara mantra Mantralaya Raghavendra Swamy Suprabhatham-LISTEN-ONLINE

Mantralaya Raghavendra Swamy Suprabhatham, Dandakam, Listen on Every Thursday to get rid of all problems
Incarnation of Sree Raghavendra

THE FIRST INCARNATION OF SRI PRAHLADA : ( A Short Story About Prahlada Great Devotee of Lord vishnu)

Sri prahlada was the dear son of sri lilavathi and Hiranyakasipu. Even while in his mother 's womb, he was initiated into worship of Lord Narayana,by the sage Narada .Ever since birth ,he had been absorbed in the repetition of Lord Hari's name. He had no thought of this world.

Hiranyakasipu, who considered Lord Narayana as his sworn enemy, did not like
his son's behaviour. He sent his son, Prahlada, to the teachers of the demonrace,
Chanda and Marka, in the hope of reforming him and educating him to be good
and virtuous. Prahlada had no taste for the kind of instruction imparted by his
teachers. He paid no heed to anything other than the meditation on the Lord.
He began to teach his fellow -demon pupils the greatness of praying to Lord

 Narayana and led them to join him in singing the praises of Lord. Hiranyakasipu
sent for the boy and asked him to recite a verse which he had learnt from his
teachers.Thereupon ,the prodigy repeated a verse extolling the devine qualities
of Lord and the efficacy of praying to him in these words.
Those hands deserve the name that worship the Lord:
The tongue which praises the Lord,desrve to be called so:
The sight that beholds the Lord,deverse its name:

The head that bows to Seshasayi(one who reclines onthe serpent -
king Lord Adisesha) is fit to be called so:
He then affirmed fearlessly that his mind which was drunk with the nectar of
the meditation onthe Lotus feet of Lord(Narayana).could not rest on any thing
else.

 The father then angrily demanded of him to say where Lord Hari is present ;
The boy instantly replied;
"Donot dought the presence of the Lord in one place or another.Chakri (the
bearer of the wheel Vishnu) is present wherever you seek him in the world"

In the end, Hiranyakasipu subjected prahlada to many cruel tortures inthe hope
of making him giveup his devotion to Lord Vishnu.He caused the boy to be
trampled over by elephants.He had the boy thrown down the slopes of mountains,immersed in the ocean ,cast into a blazing fire ,bitten by venomous serpants and even made him partake of a cup of the vilest poison.Prahlada came out unscathed and undeterred,because of his abiding and unflinching
faith in Lord Vishnu.

In utter disgust ,hiranyakasipu called his son and demanded of him to show his
god,whome he had descibed omnipresent,in an adjacent pillar.Prahlada humbly
but firmly agreed to do so .In his inveterato anger and arrogance,Hiranyakasipu
struck the pillar with his mace .Instantaneously Lord Hari emerged from the
pillar, in the manifestation of the man -lion;

"Satyam vidhatum nijabhritya bhashitam"

beejakshara mantra Lord Ganesha - Listen Daily for Success

The Lord of Success - Master of Remover of Obstacles.

The son of Shiva and Parvati, Ganesha has an elephantine countenance with a curved trunk and big ears, and a huge pot-bellied body of a human being. He is the Lord of success and destroyer of evils and obstacles. He is also worshipped as the god of education, knowledge, wisdom and wealth. In fact, Ganesha is one of the five prime Hindu deities (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and Durga being the other four) whose idolatry is glorified as the panchayatana puja.

Lord Ganesha is the prime God before praying any GOD one must start praying Lord Ganesha and then should start praying other Deities.

OM Bhur-Bhuvah-Svah.
Tat savitur varenyam
bhargo devasva dhimahi.
Dhiyo yo nah pracodayat.

'Gayatri Mantra', the ultimate Vedic prayer to awaken the intellectual powers of a person, first found its reference in the 'Vedas' believed to be the storehouse of all Divine Knowledge and the most ancient scriptures known to mankind. The universal prayer is addressed to the Sun God, addressed as 'Savitha' as the Life-Giver on Earth. Goddess Gayatri or Annapurna is believed to be the Mother-God that animates all Life. Considered to be the essence of the Vedas, Gayatri Mantra fosters and hones the knowledge-yielding faculty of a person. The four 'mahavakyas' or ultimate sentences of Gayatri Mantra, is a sacred mantra that demonstrates the unity that underlies multiplicity and manifoldness in creation.

The essence of the Mantra can be stated as follows - 'Oh God! Thou art the Giver of Life, Remover of pain and sorrow, The Bestower of happiness, Oh! Creator of the Universe, May we receive thy supreme sin-destroying light, May Thou guide our intellect in the right direction.'

The individual words and characters of the Mantra have a meaning of their own than can be defined as follows:

Meaning of Gayathri mantra
Om: The primeval sound that represents Brahma,
Bhur: The physical world that embodies the vital spiritual energy or 'Pran',
Bhuvah: The mental world and destroyer of all sufferings,
Swaha: The celestial and spiritual world that embodies happiness,
Tat: That or God, referring to transcendental Paramatma (Ultimate Spirit),
Savithur: The Bright Sun or the Creator and Preserver of World,
Varenyam: Best or most adorable,
Bhargo: Destroyer of all sins,
Devasya: Divine Deity or Supreme Lord,
Dheemahi: We meditate upon and take in,
Dhiyo: The Intellect,
Yo: The Light,
Nah: Our,
Prachodayath: Inspire or Enlighten.

Thus, the Gayatri Mantra can be translated as follows:

We meditate on the glory of the Creator;
Who has created the Universe;
Who is worthy of Worship;
Who is the embodiment of Knowledge and Light;
Who is the remover of all Sin and Ignorance;
May He enlighten our Intellect.

Thus, we can say that Gayatri Mantra basically consists of three parts:
1. Praise,
2. Meditation, and
3. Prayer.

While chanting the mantra, we first praise the God or the Divine Power, meditate upon it in all reverence and then finally pray or make an appeal to the God awaken and strengthen the intellectual powers of a person. The Mantra is said to be the embodiment of all deities and is certainly not associated with any particular religion or sect, time, place or person. While Om, Bhuh, Bhuvah, Swaha, Thath, Savithur, Varenyam, Bhargo and Devasya are said to be its nine colors or praise of the Divine, Dheemahi is related to meditation and Dhiyo, Yo, Nah and Prachodayaath are said to be the parts of the prayer aspects of the mantra.

'Gayatri' is not actually the Goddess, which sounds surprising but she is held in equal reverence because she is the mother of the Vedas or Divine Knowledge. The other two forms of Gayatri are Savitri and Saraswathi and these three are said to be present in everyone, in which - Gayatri is said to be the one to control the senses of a person, Savitri controls the Prana or the Life Force of a person and Saraswathi controls Speech of a person. Thus, the three together represent the purity in thought, word, and deed. In the same order, Gayatri is said to enhance one's intelligence and intuition by recitation of the mantra, Savitri is said to protect the life forces and Saraswati is said to guard one's speech.

The deity Gayatri is said to be 'Panchamukhi' (having five faces). These five faces are actually the five senses guarded by her or alternatively, five 'pranas' of life forces protected by her as Savitri. The concept of Savitri being the deity to control life forces stems from the legend that Savitri was the devoted wife who was so pure and loved her husband so much that she succeeded in bringing her husband back to life by forcing Yama, the God of Death, to return his 'Prana' or Life Force. It is said that Gayatri Mantra acts as a third eye of a person that opens up a whole new world of spiritual realization and attaining Brahma.

It is said to have power to protect one from any possible harm. Even the science-minded Westerners have found that the correct recitation of Gayatri Mantra in the right accent as described in the Vedas produce certain vibrations that make the surrounding atmosphere visibly illumined, which is described as the 'Brahmaprakasha' or Effulgence of the Divine by more staunch believers. As prescribed by the Vedas, Gayatri mantra must be chanted at least three times a day during morning while taking bath, noon before eating lunch and evening at the time of sunset to cancel out all the sins that one may have done all through the day unknowingly. However, it is best to recite Gayatri period during the 'Satwik' or 'pure and serene' period during the day from 4 am to 8 am and 4 pm to 8 pm. The Gayatri Mantra should be recited while meditating upon the fact that everything is within oneself and thus, we should keep and develop confidence in the Self.

beejakshara mantra Visit Lord venkateswara Tirumala Temple -ONLINE

Welcome to the DIVINE - THOUGHT BLOGSPOT.

About the tirmal temple...
The ancient and sacred temple of Sri Venkateswara is located on the seventh peak, Venkatachala (Venkata Hill) of the Tirupati Hill, and lies on the southern banks of Sri Swami Pushkarini. It is by the Lord's presidency over Venkatachala, that He has received the appellation, Venkateswara (Lord of the Venkata Hill). He is also called the Lord of the Seven Hills.

The Temple of Sri Venkateswara has acquired unique sanctity in Indian religious lore. The Sastras, Puranas, Sthala Mahatyams and Alwar hymns unequivocally declare that, in the Kali Yuga, one can attain mukti, only by worshipping Venkata Nayaka or Sri Venkateswara.

The benefits acquired by a piligrimage to Venkatachala are mentioned in the Rig Veda and Asthadasa Puranas. In these epics, Sri Venkateswara is described as the great bestower of boons. There are several legends associated with the manifestation of the Lord at Tirumala.

The Temple has its origins in Vaishnavism, an ancient sect which advocates the principles of equality and love, and prohibits animal sacrifice.

The sanctum sanctorum which houses the awe-inspiring idol of the Lord of the Seven Hills is situated in the main temple complex of Tirumala.

beejakshara mantra Mantras for Lord Ganesha - Remover of Obstacles

Lord Ganesha is one of the most prominent dieties in Hinduism. Ganesha has the unique distinction that his name is
always invoked before any other God's name in any prayer service. Legend has it that Lord Ganesha received this
distinction as a blessing from his parents, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Lord Ganesha is designated as the chief
(-eesha) of all of Lord Shiva's ganas (servers) - hence his name, Ganesha.
We begin with an invocation to Lord Ganesha - he of the single tusk, whose vehicle is the mouse and he who penned the
Mahabharata with his own hands.
