beejakshara mantra What is Karma

Karma Theory

Karma is the 'akashik' or universal record of all of your activities done in the past and present incarnation. It is a record of all good and bad actions in your all life incarnations. As we know that our real being is never born and never dies. We are just transformed from one carnation to another.

Karma is made by actions we do and words we spoke . Every person is responsible for his or her own acts and thoughts. So each person's karma is entirely his or her own. The theory of karma is the theory of cause and effect. The theory is similar to principles of Newton, that every action produces an equal and opposite reaction. Every time we think or do something we create a cause which in time will bear its corresponding effects. Karma can be positive or negative.

Three kinds of karma:

1. Satvik karma. A karma without attachments to its outcome. This type of karma is selfless and is done for the benefits of other beings.

2. Rajsik Karma. This kind of karma is selfish and the main focus is on the gains for oneself.

3.Tamsik karma. Supremely selfish and with the intention to tease others. The type of karma is done without any heed to consequences.
Then the genuine question that comes into the mind if there is any way to remove the negative effects of negative Karmas from the life and how to live a prosperous life with good Karmas.
