Gayatri Mantra Importance
- Gayatri is the mother of Vedas and Gayatri is the destroyer of sins.
- Gayatri is the mother of Vedas and Gayatri gives birth to Brahmna(by bestowing divine knowledge)
- There is no mantra greater than Gayatri, She abides in the middle of all shrutis(vedas).
There has been sayings that the Gayatri Mantra has some words which has been ommited by great sages because they had intention that some cruel people might use it for wrong purposes. The three words are :
"परो रजसे सवदों"
